As the name indicates, tertiary impact crushers are used in the third stage of crushing. They are used to break up limestone and alluvium. The crushing principle is based on the impact effect at high speed. The tertiary impact crushers produce a high quality final product with cubic shape at given dimensions. The dimensions of the final product depend on the adjustment of the distance between rotor and breaker anvil. This type of crusher differs from the others thanks to the possibility of changing the rotation direction of the rotor, thus allowing to use both sides of the blow bars which increases their life span.
The fact that impact crushers are used in all crushing stages shows their importance for Boratas. We recognize that these machines are widely demanded and that our customers expect high quality. This motivates us to produce machines able to exceed our customers’ expectations. The impact crushers are designed to last a very long time minimizing the need for maintenance, while maximizing performance, whether in the primary, secondary, or tertiary stage. Impact crushers are defined by a combination of high inertia rotors, wear-resistant materials, and a well-sized crushing chamber. This combination allows a good production rate while producing a fine and high-quality product.
The components of our machines and the materials used, are the reason for the low need for maintenance. The robust rotor is made of cast steel, the blow bars are made of alloyed manganese which strengthens and increases life span.
Characteristic of the impact crushers:
- High reduction rate
- Low investment cost
- Low operating cost
- Simple adjustments
- Large discharge opening
- Use in fixed and mobile installations
Advantage:
- Easy maintenance
- Easy replacement of worn parts
- Long life expectancy
- Using exchangable blow bars
